Why become a foster parent?

Our existing foster parents tell us fostering has been the ‘experience of a lifetime’ for them.

The foster children may be distressed and could initially be uncooperative but the real rewards are easy to see. Knowing that you are helping a young person build a better life for themselves by providing support at a time when they need it most, rightly gives you a great sense of achievement.

Although being a foster parent isn’t always easy, there is plenty of support available to help and give you guidance. You will never be left entirely on your own to deal with difficult situations.
